About Me

I started my journey with Alternative Medicine when I was 23.  I was diagnosed with a sleuth of disorders, on top of the many sports injuries I obtained throughout the years, and continued to receive.

I was slowly deteriorating , and eventually was let go from my job because of my frequent bed ridden days.

I decided to go back to school full-time.  I learned a lot about myself, and my disorders.  As I began to feel better by exercising and eating right, I knew I had to help others with their wellness.  Prevention is and always will be my mission in helping others.  Do Not Wait until you are TOO SICK to receive help.      â€‹

While I was working in the Fitness Industry many of my students and clients would ask me in depth questions about their health care concerns more and more.  I was not qualified to answer, but I wanted to answer their questions, so I decided to go back to school.

I had such great results in my previous years with Acupuncture and Herbs that I decided to follow the Alternative Medicine path.  I understand what pain is and how to treat it with a gentle approach.  My treatment method is for those who need a gentle touch and suffer from arthritis, fibromyalgia, sports injuries and limitations of aging.  I offer treatment stategies that are designed for your body to work within its own limitations without force.  Modifications are necessary for getting our bodies moving when they have sustained injury or are chronically deterioriating.  We will build healthy bodies together with Oriental Medicine and Fitness for graceful aging and peaceful minds.

I studied at one of the most prestigious Acupuncture Colleges in the country, Southwest Acupuncture College (Albuquerque & Santa Fe, NM Campuses).  I had the privilege of studying at The University of Heilongjiang, in Harbin, China, and completed internships at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, and The Safe House (a shelter for abused families). I utilize Master Tung styles and Japanese style needle technique.  Trigger point needling also known as Dry Needle Technique and Essential Oils.

I currently practice in multiple locations serving the elderly, spinal cord injury and Veteran populations.  I'm also a Workman's Comp provider and work in collaboration with Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists and other Acupuncturists.   If I can't help you, I know many other practitioners that can.

As a result of my practice, I am now 97% pain free, and managing the other ailments very well. In fact my physicians only see me occasional for routine visits.  I have eliminated many of the disorders I was suffering from.  I want to help you feel your best.
