Welcome

imageWelcome to my Website!

Often I'm the specialist of last resort -- people have tried everything else BUT acupuncture and are still having a problem that can be fixed.  Hopefully, this is about to change, and you want to try something that's worked for centuries!  You won't regret it!  Whether you've had acupuncture at another location or are a first-timer, you've come to the right place.

My resume:  I'm an NCCAOM-certified acupuncturist with over 34 years experience.  I graduated from the best acupuncture school in the country, The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, San Francisco.

My success rate?  I get fast results because I use a technique called "Quick Result Needling" With QRN I can usually reduce your symptoms on your FIRST visit!  In other words, you will know how acupuncture works for you at the end of your first visit.

All of my patients feel very relaxed during and after their treatments.  Why?  The scientific reason is that your own body produces chemicals called endorphins and enkepalins -- which are pain killers and mood enhancers.  Mood enhacers make you feel relaxed and uplifted.  (Especially good for stress, anxiety, depression and even panic attacks.)  Acupuncture is unique in that it stimulates your body to release these chemicals, along with anti-inflamatories, and lots of other positive agents; all of which have a pain relieving, healing effect for acute and chronic conditions.

Costs:  I charge the same or less than most other acupuncture offices; please check this out.

Will your insurance pay?  Please call your insurance company to see if your particular plan pays for acupuncture.  Each plan is different.  Note: Medicaid is now paying for some painful conditions, but, like the other insurance programs, each plan is different, and therefore you have to check with them.

Veterans:  The VA usually approves (and pays for) an average of 13 acupuncture treatments for each injury.  To qualify you have to see your doctor at the VA and ask for a prescription for acupuncture.  Once you have the prescription, ask to see me, and they will contact me.  No problem.  I am well acquainted with the Patient Care Coordinator there.
